Admission Qualification:
A Candidate may be admitted to the first year of three year B.A / B.Sc (Honours / General) Courses of studies on passing 10+2 Examination in General Stream Conducted by West Bengal Council of higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), ISC, C.B.S.E and different boards as approved by the University of Calcutta.
Admission to the History, Philosophy, Pol. Science, Sanskrit, Education, Sociology 50% marks in aggregate with 50% marks in the subjects or 55% marks in the subject or 55% marks in aggregate when the candidate takes up Hons, in the subject not included in her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied. English, Bengali, Hindi 60% marks in aggregate with 60% marks in the subjects.
Journalism & Mass Communication, Physiology  50% marks in aggregate with 50% marks in English, Geography & Food and Nutrition 60% marks in aggregate with 60% marks in the subject.
Candidates belonging to the Scheduled caste or Scheduled Tribes community eligible for taking up honours, must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

The College offer three year UG B.A Honours Course in Bengali (65 seats), English (84 seats), Hindi (28 seats), Sanskrit (30 seats), History (64 seats), Political Science (64 seats), Education (64 seats), Philosophy (64 seats), Sociology (78 seats), Journalism & Mass Communication (64 seats.
B.Sc Honours Course in Geography (78 seats), Psychology (64 seats), Food and Nutrition (64 seats).

Admission & Application Fees:
Application will be considered only upon payment of requisite Application Fees (Rs.200/-) Per form. Payments can be made either online using Net banking Facility, Credit Card or Debit card of any Bank or cash (off line) in Application form. Cash payment with Bank Challans may be received by Union Bank of India Shyambazar & Baghbazar Branch.
