Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants who want to apply for the UGC Scholarship should have completed their 10+2 and Graduates / Post Graduate / Ph.d degree in the relevant discipline from a well recognized University and Board. 

Age Limit:
Age of candidates must not be more than 30 years at the time of admission in PG course. 

Amount of Scholarship:
An amount of Rs.5400/- p.m for General Degree courses and Rs.7800/- p.m for Technical & Professional courses (including Medical & Para medical courses) will be given through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary student.

Dr. S. Ramakrishnan Fellowship of Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Post Doctoral Fellowship for Women, Post Doctoral Fellowship for SC/ST Candidates, Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Fellowship for Research in Social Science, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for Persons with Disability, Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minorities Communities, National Fellowship for OBC Candidates, Indira Gandhi P.G Scholarship for Single Girl Child, P.G Scholarship for University Rank Holder candidates, Post Graduation Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST Candidates, Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region. 

Cancellation of Scholarship:
The UGC may terminate the scholarship of any students in case of:
Misconduct of the awardee, if any, reported by the University/Institution.
Unsatisfactory progress report 
Candidates being found ineligible at later date shall face the penal action and will also be liable to refund the entire Scholarship amount paid. 

Documents Required:
The Candidate is required to submit and application in the prescribed format
Attested copy of University undergraduate degree.
Recent pass port size photograph
Age proof certificate
Matriculation certificate / mark sheet
10+2 mark sheet / Certificate
Income Certificate 
A Verification certificate by the institute where, students has taken admission to 1st year PG course.
Prescribed format of provisional certificate from the University (not for autonomous college). 

How to Apply Process:
Candidates may go to official portal of University Grants Commission that is www.ugc.ac.in 
Select link e-Sarts Scholarship-Fellowships that is given at the right side of home page.
Now move applicants cursor to the download link and select guidelines tab.
After reading given details press tab 'apply now'
Now Fill Online Application Form till last date and upload required documents and certificates.
At last submit application form and take print out of it for future use.
