Eligibility:
Applicants should be a Indian citizen.
Applicant should pass the High Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / Council / University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. There is however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the applicants belonging to SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B / PH / Ex-serviceman categories. Where there is no aggregate marks, 50% / 45% of the total of the best five scores excluding EVS for eligibility will be counted.
Required age should not be above 35 years of age (40 years of age for SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B / PH) as on 01.07.2017 (this upper age limit is not applicable for the in service teachers, appointed before 03.09.2001).
Applicant must have studied the language at the Higher Secondary level as a compulsory subject for which medium of instructions he / she will be applying for admission. The second language must be English.
4% of the seats shall be earmarked for applicants coming from the Vocational Stream Course (10+2 level) under any Board / University / Council or its equivalent , regardless of categories. Such Vocational course pass applicants must have studied at least two language including English at the High Secondary stage

For Govt. / Govt Sponsored / Govt. Aided Institute -
Total Intake 50 - General (15), SC (11), ST (3), OBC A (5), OBC B (4), PH (2), Deputed Teacher (5), Ex Serviceman Teachers (3), Vocational (2).
Total Intake 100 - General (33), SC (22), ST (6), OBC A (10), OBC B (7), PH (3), Deputed in Service Teacher (10), Ex Serviceman (5), Vocational (4).

For Private / Self Financed Institutes -
Total Intake 50 - General (18), SC (11), ST (3), OBC A (5), OBC B (4), PH (2), Management Quota (5), Vocational (2).
Total Intake 100 - General (38), SC (22), ST (6), OBC A (10), OBC B (7), PH (3), Management Quota (10), Vocational (4).
Total Intake 150 - General (56), SC (33), ST (9), OBC A (15), OBC B (11), PH (5), Management Quota (15), Vocational (6).

Application fee:
Application Fees is Rs.300 (for General & OBC category) candidates and Rs.150 for SC / ST / PH candidates.
Candidates can pay through SBI Collect (www.onlinesbi.com) portal through Online (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking) or Offline payment mode (by Cash Challan in Counter).

Admission fee:
The course fee for a Government Institution shall be as per the existing fees structure of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
For the Un-aided Self Financed Non Government Institution it shall be Rs.12000 only per quarter in addition to Rs.1000 only per month as Hostel Fees.

After that print out  Submitted Application Form & Payment Slip
