Details of Posts & Vacancy:
A & N Island Recruitment 2017 in District and Session Judge Court for Group C Posts (Total Vacancy 28) -
Lower Grade Clerk / Typist / Copyist - Total 9 Posts (General 3, OBC 3, ST 1, DC 2).
MTS - Total 17 Posts (General 10, OBC 6, ST 1).
Driver - Total 2 Posts (General).

Age Limit:
Candidates required age should be between 18 to 33 years for Male and 18 to 38 years for Female candidates (Relax-able for Government Servants and ST candidates upto 5 years and OBC candidates by 3 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.

Scale of Pay:
LDC - Level 2 Rs.19900 in Pay Matrix plus One advance increment.
MTS - Level 1 Rs.18000 in Pay Matrix.
Driver - Level 2 Rs.19990 in pay Matrix.

Qualification:
For LDC - Pass in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th Standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board / University. Candidate should be able to type 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
For MTS - Matriculation (10th Standard) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / University. Ability to read and write Hindi and English.
Driver - Must have passed in 10th Standard from a recognized Institution. Must posses a valid Light Vehicle Driving License. Must qualify in the written examination and trade test.

Selection Process:
LDC - Candidates should qualify in the written examination Skill Test norms on Computer English typing 35 words per minute or Hindi typing 30 words per minute (Time allowed 10 minutes).
MTS - Should qualify in a written test.
Driver - Must qualify in the written examination and trade test.

Scheme of Examination:
Lower Grade Clerk / Typist / Copyist - Paper 1 Objective type multiple choice question (100 marks) with 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answers. Syllabus English Grammar & English Composition (30 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning, Computer and General Awareness (40 marks) and Mathematics (30 marks).
Paper 2 Skill test in English Typewriting on Computer as per skill test norms. Only the shortlisted candidates in Paper 1 will be called for Paper 2.

Driver - Paper 1 Trade Test and Skill Test as per norms, Paper 2 Objective type Multiple Choice question (50 marks). Syllabus English Grammar, English General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness. On the successful candidates in Paper 1 will be called for Paper 2. There will be no negative marks for this category.

MTS - Paper 1 Objective type multiple choice question (100 marks) with 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answers. Syllabus English Grammar & English Composition (30 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness (40 marks) and Mathematics (30 marks).
Paper 2 Trade Test in Cycling on Bicycle.

Required Document with Application:
The applications shall be annexed with self attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications and testimonials in support of the post applied for, local certificate, certificate in proof of age. Community Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Employment Exchange Registration Card of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, driving license in case of candidates applying for the post of Driver and two self addressed envelops affixed with postal stamp worth Rs.41 each.

The application fore the post should be submitted in prescribed form along-with all supporting documents, which must be self attested.
Candidates who submit the application in person shall drop the same in the application box kept in reception counter of the office of the district & session judge. No application shall be entertained after 4 pm of the closing date (25.10.2017).

Important Instructions:
Before the application followed the Official Advertisement carefully.
Applications send by any other means in hard copies shall also be entertained till 4 pm of the Closing date (25.10.2017).
Unsigned applications or incomplete applications or applications submitted without supporting documents as per requirements will be rejected outright without any intimation.
Once application is submitted, no additional documents / certificates shall be received from the candidates thereafter.
The hall Ticket to be submitted along with the application shall remain valid for the written examination, skill / trade test and till conclusion of the selection process.
The candidates can apply for one post.
