Details of Posts and Vacancy:
South Indian Bank Recruitment 2018-19 in Probationary Clerks (Total 468 Posts). Regional wise Vacancy Break up is given below -
1. Kerala - 340 Posts.
2. Tamil Nadu - 68 Posts.
3. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana - Total 35 Posts.
4. Delhi NCR - Total 25 Posts.

Age Limit:
Candidates required age should be not less than 26 years as on 31.12.2017. Candidate should be born not earlier than 01.01.1992 and not later than 31.12.1997 (Both days inclusive). Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC / ST candidates.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates having SSC (10th), HSC (12th) & Graduation with minimum 60% marks under regular course are eligible for applying.

Other Requirements:
Candidates having permanent addressed in the respective state or those who have been residing in the same state continuously for the last 5 years and are proficient in local language apart from English only are eligible for apply.
Candidates who are meeting the requisite educational qualification as on 3.12.2017 only will be eligible to apply.
Candidates should have passed 10th, 12th and Graduation under regular course (full time course) from a recognized University / Institute recognized by the Govt. of India. Educational qualification by mode of distance education will not be considered.
Those who have scored less than 60% marks will not be eligible for applying. Rounding off to the nearest integer is not allowed.

Salary & Probation Period:
The period of probation is 6 months. Confirmation will be subject to satisfactory performance during the period of probation.
Pay Scale is Rs.11765 to 31540.
Apart from the above basic pay, candidates will be paid DA, HRA and other allowances as per the rules of the Bank in force from time depending upon the place of posting.

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates will be based on Online Test and Personal Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview, on the basic of performance in Online test. The final selection shall be made on the basic of Personal Interview.
Bank reserves the right to make required modification in the selection process considering the number of applications for the post.

Written Examination Scheme:
Written Examination on total 190 questions and 200 Marks. Medium if Exam is English. Each question will have 5 options and there will be .25 penalty for wrong answer. Examination will be based on -
General / Financial Awareness - 50 Question (50 Marks), 35 Minutes duration.
General English - 40 Question (40 Marks), 35 Minutes duration.
Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude - 50 Question (60 Marks), 45 Minutes duration.
Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Questions (50 Marks), 45 Minutes duration.

Application Fees:
Candidates required to pay Application fee of Rs.600 (for General category) & Rs.150 (for SC / ST Category).
The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be complete by the following the instructions.
The payment can be made by using Debit Card, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets.
On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.
No generation of E-receipt indicates Payment Failure. On failure of payment, candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process again.
Candidates are required to take a print out of the e-receipt and online Application Form containing fee details.
